2025 CORNERSTONE CELEBRATION
On this celebratory Cornerstone evening, we honored those who have dedicated their time, intention and financial resources to help build brighter futures for youth in our region, and to celebrate NEW plans for CBOBS on the horizon. Together, we mark a bold new chapter for CBOBS.
Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School has received a $2 million investment from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation—the single largest in our organization’s history. This transformational investment will launch the next chapter of our work: a permanent outdoor campus in Washington, DC. Located at THEARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus), a vibrant hub for youth and community services in Ward 8, our new outdoor campus will allow thousands of DC students to experience Outward Bound’s powerful, character-building programs right in their own city.
This support does more than build a campus. It strengthens our long-term vision to double our impact and serve 10,000 young people annually across Baltimore and DC by 2030.
We’re deeply grateful to our partners at the Clark Foundation and THEARC for believing in our mission—and to you, our community, for making this kind of momentum possible.
Kristen shares our next steps forward at Cornerstone 2025!
