FAQ
Camp runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Drop-off and pick-up happen daily in front of the office porch.
Please note: Timely pickup is essential to the smooth operation of our camp. All campers must be picked up promptly at the designated end-of-day time. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know. Repeated late pickups may result in your child being unable to return to camp.
Campers should bring a packed lunch, a refillable water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes. A packing list will be provided prior to the first day.Â
No experience necessary! Our camp is designed for beginners and includes appropriate age instruction and support to help campers build confidence. Climbing will be a section of most camp days, about 60-90 min per day. We encourage students to choose their level of challenge with climbing – which could mean climbing just a couple steps off the ground, or climbing all the way to the top. While we will encourage students to challenge themselves, we will never force anyone to climb.Â
Each day includes a mix of climbing activities, nature hikes, team-building games, and outdoor living skills, all wrapped in a focus on social-emotional learning.
Our staff are trained in challenge course facilitation, first aid and CPR, and youth development. All climbing activities use industry-standard safety equipment and protocols.
We intentionally design our activities to promote Belonging, Courage, Physical Engagement, and Reflection through group challenges, journaling, and debriefs.
Camp runs rain or shine! We adjust our activities as needed and have access to shelter for severe weather.
Please share all relevant medical information during registration. We work with families to accommodate allergies and health needs as best we can. Please see here for more information.
