CHARTING BOLD FUTURES.

A year-end message from our Executive Director and Student Alumni

At Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School, we believe in the undeniable power of experiential learning and the profound impact it has on young people. Please take a moment to hear our students' success stories in their own words.

Through the transformative power of our programs, students from all walks of life are embarking on life-changing journeys that foster resilience, teamwork, and compassion. These are future leaders who will face challenges head-on and work tirelessly to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. It is with the support of our donor community that we served over 5,600 students across the Baltimore-Washington region last year, equipping them with the skills to navigate life's challenges with confidence and grace.

Join us in this season of giving- Gifts of all sizes will directly contribute to providing scholarships for students who otherwise couldn’t afford this life-altering program.

Together, we can continue to help students chart bold futures. Make a one-time or monthly gift today.

BIG PLANS FOR 2026

Thanks to generous support from our donor community and especially the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, we are opening a permanent outdoor learning campus in Ward 8 of Washington, D.C. We’re deeply grateful to the Clark Foundation, our longtime partners at THEARC, and the many leaders and champions who helped turn this bold vision into reality.

It doesn't stop here - your support will help us reach our goal of serving 10,000 young people annually across Baltimore and D.C by 2030. The impact of our ability to serve even more students is best expressed by their experiences and reflections on Outward Bound courses.
